In a nutshell, Greeniversity helps people get together and learn practical skills and information for sustainable communities of the future. Whether it’s cooking, growing, making or mending - anything goes as long as it’s green or helps build community spirit.
Greeniversity classes are for adults and are taught by ordinary people. You can take a one off lesson or a five week course – Greeniversity is very flexible. The most important thing is to have fun and meet new people while you learn how to be a little greener.

Greeniversity was established in Peterborough in 2010 by Peterborough Environment City Trust and is very grateful to have received support from the National Endowment for Science, Technology and the Arts (NESTA) in 2012 for launching the platform nationally.
