Name: CharmaineJob: Deputy Manager
Charmaine works full time for a School of Motoring and has a full and demanding schedule not least because she is a mum with a six year old daughter.
We asked Charmaine a few questions about becoming a Greeniversity student.
“I was looking for a way of learning something new outside of my job that was fun and not time consuming. I’m really looking forward to using my creative energy and meeting new people”
“To be honest I really don’t want to do anything formal - something that you have to pay for then commit too. My life’s too busy for that, but I really wanted to learn something new.
So when I heard about Greeniversity I thought that’s just the thing for me”.
I’m definitely going to sign up to the Credit Crunch Chic course which is due to be run in January by Peterborough College of Adult Education. The last time I tried altering or re-vamping my clothes was at school!”
“I’ve always been interested in fashion an altering my clothes, I want to learn how to do it properly. Another benefit is saving money by reusing clothes that normally I might discard.”
If you want to learn new skills sign up as a Greeniversity student. You can register for courses, chat with other learners, and view course information and materials.
