Courses & Resources

It’s been a fantastic week at the Greeniversity, I’ve been to 2 courses and had such a good time I thought I would share them.

The first I went to was ‘How to get Your Green Message Across’ with its self explanatory title and its expert tutor, Nyree PECT’s marketing manager, it was bound to be a hit. It really was interesting to find out about how to target your audience with your Green message and most importantly the need to work out who your audience is! Note: doesn’t Nyree look fab?  But how fab is that doody little projector and laptop! Both Items belong to the Greeniversity Resource Library which is a wonderful cupboard to which Lisa, PECT’s office manager, holds the key. As a Greeniversity teacher you can borrow any of the items free of charge to support your lesson. The second course I went on was ‘The scent of the Tudors – making eco friendly lessons from history.'  Brilliant! Rosie, the teacher, was a mine of information; we made a pomander using an orange, ribbon and cloves while Rosie told us about the cleaning habits of the Tudors and where we got sayings from like threshold and the graveyard shift. Note: This wonderful photo was taken using the Greeniversity camera, which as I noted before can be borrowed free of charge from the Greeniversity resource library
