Greeniversity Trainer Training a resounding success
The first Greeniversity train the trainer courses took place this week and were a resounding success.
The one day workshop took place in the PECT office and funnily enough lunch was NOT the highlight of the day! (Although lunch was very good) It wasn’t the free goody bag either (Although that was very good too!) So how did the day work? The morning consisted of a session of confidence building and assertiveness training. After lunch the Greeniversity teachers had some coaching in how to teach their Green skill effectively and the afternoon finished with all the participants giving a short presentation about their skill. So look out for upcoming Greeniversity workshops on: • Water harvesting ( James) • Environmental Tudors (Rosie) • Facial massage (Janine) • Mosaics made from recycled materials (Jane) • Dry stone walling (Jamie) • Ayurverdic techniques (Gita) • Effective freecycling (Kim) • Aromatherapy (Karen) The whole session was handled expertly by Tim Behetz who is a trainer with the Peterborough College of Adult Education. The next training session is on the 2nd February 2010
