Greeniversity Live
Greeniversity Live. Location – Radio Cambridgeshire
Date: - 9th Nov. Fall of the Berlin Wall – Rise of the Greeniversity. Weather: Misty. Objective: - Raising the ‘green’ curtain on Learning. Time :- 7am – yuk.
Today the roads were foggy and the lights that shone brightly through the gloom symbolised the start of the Greeniversity. Nyree and I had the real pleasure of once again being on the Paul Stainton Breakfast show; a brilliant show that mixes solid information with a high level of fun - exactly the message of the Greeniversity. Paul Stainton, the 7am to 9am Radio Cambridgeshire guru who self confesses on his Web profile that his favourite food is ‘large nuts and weird shaped vegetables’, hardly surprisingly, felt an affinity with the Green Backyard and the courses that are on offer as part of the Greeniversity ‘green’ skills free learning. Born in Yorkshire Paul is keen to take advantage of Jamies’ course on dry stone walling that reminds him of his home and in true Greeniversity spirit seemed to think he could offer teaching his skills in catching Kermit, the green frog from the Muppet show.
Hear us on BBC Radio Cambridgeshire...
Radio Cambridgeshire brings the real ‘happening’ events in the county to the people that live here and today it was us that reflected their criteria in the form of free learning. The Greeniversity is really happening bringing real ‘green-skill’ teaching to the people of Peterborough. If that is all too much so early on Monday I will be teaching the natural massage way of getting rid of headaches soon so book your first course at www.greeniversity.org.uk. Our website has been intensively tested over the weekend, areas that need altering have been identified and will be adjusted followed by more testing. If you would like to help in pre-view testing we would love to hear from you. Happy Monday and thanks Paul.
