Peterborough’s biggest event of the year has finally drawn to a close. The Green Festival ended on Sunday 6th June after a week brimming with fun activities across Peterborough. The last day saw hundreds of people wearing green clothing for a record breaking attempt at Ferry Meadows along with other activities, stalls, music and games.
This year’s Green Festival was a huge success, thanks to the hard work and dedication of its organisers at green charity Peterborough Environment City Trust (PECT) and the eager souls who turned up to the various events. If this year is anything to go by, then next year is going to rock Peterborough to its very foundations!
