Salvation Army Citadel Visit

The Salvation Army held a morning of presentations for over thirty residents at the Peterborough Citadel on Tuesday July 13th. Communities team project officer Karen Lawrence and Greeniversity support officer Robbie Gallagher attended, the former giving a PowerPoint presentation on Greeniversity with the latter handing out free green goodies such as reusable canvas bags and recycled notebooks.

After speaking with the residents, many were interested in either signing up for courses or teaching their own green skills.. This was great news for many reasons, especially the prospect of intergenerational learning from which both young and old can benefit.

If you know anyone who has a green skill that they could pass on, point them in the direction of Greeniversity – the fun and free learning experience!
