Greeniversity was recently awarded a prestigious Green Apple Award for Environmental Best Practise. This comes as great news for those who have dedicated so much time and effort into making Greeniversity a thriving hub of environmental education within Peterborough.
This is not the first time green charity Peterborough Environment City Trust’s work has been recognised in this way. The charity won Green Apple Awards in 2009 for their work on two projects - Peterborough’s Green Festival which attracted over 15,000 people and Zero Waste Places which diverted over 3,000 tonnes of waste from landfill.
